Ru's Beef on Weck Pierogi

A new take on the classic Buffalo, NY sandwich, Ru’s beef on weck pierogi are deep fried and served with french fries, pickles and delicious homemade horsey dipping sauce (horseradish).


  • Ingredients
  • Ru's Roast Beef Pierogi1 case (50 pieces)
  • Mayonnaise1 cup
  • Sour Cream½ cup
  • Miller’s Horseradish½ cup
  • Frank's RedHot Sauce¼ cup
  • Salt½ tsp
  • Pepper½ tsp
  • Garlic Powder½ tsp
  • French Fries or Chips (optional)
  • Pickels (optional)
  • Caraway Seeds (optional)
  • Vegetable Oil for Deep Frying
  • Horsey Sauce Instructions
    • Combine mayo, sour cream, horseradish, worcestershire, hot sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder in mixing bowl.
    • Whisk until fully blended.
    • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Pierogi Cooking Instructions
    • Heat vegetable oil to 350°F.
    • Carefully add frozen pierogi to oil.
    • Fry 6-7 mins until golden brown and heated through.
    • Remove from oil. Let excess oil drip off before plating.
  • Plating
    • Serve Ru’s Beef On Weck Pierogi over french fries or chips and top with caraway seeds, pickles and other favorite garnishes. Accompany with a bowl of horsey sauce for dipping.
